Workshare® Synergy™ is a document content application from Workshare. It offers users of Microsoft Word extended functions for document collaboration. Using Workshare Synergy, several authors can work on the same document easily and efficiently.

Using Workshare Synergy, Authors can edit documents easily and submit their proposed changes to the system. Apart from a simplified collaboration, Workshare Synergy makes sure that no unwanted changes are integrated into the final document. Synergy's extended security features include the option to save documents with passwords. That way it can be made sure that only a specified group of authors can access and edit secured documents.

Other features include the option to only print a "red thread" of a document. This feature prints only those pages of a document that have been changed.
